I think we talked about this before. You have a 1987 Fiero SE, which came with the complete with everything, regardless of whether or not you had a 4 cyl or a V6. It came with the full aero package, plus the dual V6 exhuast, and I THINK even the extra gauge cluster. If yours IS an SE... it's actually super rare. People get ... argumentative when I say that. It doesn't mean it's worth more, it's just a very rare-optioned car. There aren't many of them. I've only ever seen one in person, otherwise I wouldn't have even believed it existed. Alternately, I've seen dozens and dozens of TTOP Fieros, TTOP Formulas, suede and fleece Fiero GT seats, and all kinds of rare options growing up. Like, in Fort Lauderdale, there were literally three people in my immediate small town of Davie that had Indy Fieros in the late 80s. But only ONCE have I ever seen a 4 cyl 87 SE.
But like what Patrick said, the 2.5 simply does not put out enough power to need a bigger exhaust. A well-tuned 2.5 with the roller cam and DIS ignition (~102hp) is going to perform best with the STOCK 1-7/8ths sized mandrel-bent stock V6 exhaust. Anything more than that and it's overkill (and you will probably hurt performance).

I like the Fiero store Ocelot system. The aluminized (cheaper) one will work fine, unless they salt the roads where you live/drive. With that said, I have an 88 coupe that has had a dual exhaust from an 86 GT or an Indy (not sure which. Seller wasn't either.) bolted on. It fits just fine. The Ocelot will sound just a little bit "meaner", but sounds pretty much like stock.
