I just wanted to follow up, make sure you are using a oil filter with good anti-drain back. That will help alleviate ticking on start up. My brand new lifters tick on start up, which I believe to be a result of bad drain back on my filter.

Good point, I know there are quite a few threads on here about filters, but I'm honestly not sure which one I currently have on the car. Good thing to double check.

Never heard of anti-drain back oil filters. Would you tell me the name of the filter that has this. A link would be even better! Thanks.
