Hey guys, Sorry for the late reply, was working on the car day before I went away for new years... So long story short, I was really close to using a screwdriver and hammer, ordering a new lock and calling it a day, but I found a old car battery in the garage that's been sitting for 1 1/2+ and figured that diddn't have full amperage. put it on the passenger floor, Used a set of jumpers, Put a screwdriver through the + jumper, Negative jumper on the cigarette lighter, then used a 12v tester light to ground the trunk switch, and tapped the screwdriver on the orange wire, popped open first try with no battery. I saw a couple of the post about giving a bit of power through cigarette lighter, but my cigarette lighter has no good voltage and I have yet to Troubleshoot that one. I appreciate the help and ideas everyone!!
Thanks, Zach.
