You need to see the injectors flowing with design pressure (43 psig) to judge the spray pattern. I think the injectors are basically a DC solenoid and will go full open whichever way voltage is applied. So may be possible to flow through backwards but I can't guarantee that wouldn't cause damage.

Sanderson, you are correct. As was told to me by an injection refurbisher, the injector is simply an open/close valve. So, it seems it should flow both directions. They recommended putting a little dab of vaseline in each end of an injector when they are to be stored and even then they can stick. To unstick them, they said to take a soft hammer and while holding them in one hand, give them a couple of whacks on each end.
