Thanks for that lead. There are definitely some upsides to their system and I will keep that for reference. If I had seen this a few days ago, they'd likely have been my top choice. At this point I am waiting for a set of McGard locks. I will see how they look since they do not use the plastic caps. They are black and about the same length, but the lock end is visible. The key appears to fit over the lock in a way so as to prevent even an idiot from causing finish damage. They are returnable if I don't like them. What I do like about the ones inbound is that they make it fairly obvious without being to conspicuous that there are wheel locks.

Another thing tire shops can screw up is your coolant tubes by putting the rear lift pads in the wrong place thereby bending - kinking the pipes. Happened to me.

And here when I buy a new vehicle and it has wheel locks, the very first thing I do when I get home with it is remove the locks to throw them away and replace with regular lug nuts.
