Replacing Muffler - anyone know the procedure to get the @#!s Support Springs back on (Page 2/2)

I went ahead and FaB-Re-Cated one of those nifty looking "Rodney Dickman" inspired "Spring Installation Tools" - And I made it big, lots of leverage.. I will be taking it to the shop tomorrow and giving it a whirl. If I cannot get them in with that, the springs are going in the garbage and I am going to use plain old hangars in their place.

Thanks kindly to everyone for the great input.

place springs in place. With the help of a long thin tapered drift (punch) threaded through the holes in the bracket and the cradle (subframe) position the two.Now you can get one bolt in.Repeat as needed. It is realey quite easy when you get the hang of it.
