If anyone cares, it ended up just being a really stuck reverse shift fork. Slammed super hard into reverse and it works just fine now.

How exactly were you able to slam it in? At the trans or at the shifter itself? Mine just lost it in winter and then came back randomly but has once again gone away.

You might try removing the reverse light switch. It has a ball detent and if stuck will make shifting into reverse more difficult.
