I have to say though, now that I look at how the linkage fits together for the Isuzu box in the Fiero, what a complete fudge it is with bits bolted on here and there to make it work. Couldn’t they have cast a new quadrant box with the needed pivot points cast into it instead of this mess? Guess we’ll never know unlesss we put it down to just another example of penny pinching! I case anyone is interested.

On the left is the quadrant that came with the box and on the right is the one I got from the Fiero in the scrapper.
The differences are as follows:
The breather. On the Fiero one it’s a small covered tube with a cap on it, while on the other one on the left it’s a tube extending downwards (in this picture at least). The reason for the difference is that the one on the left interferes with the big bracket that holds the cable in place on a Fiero. I cold have made it fit but I would have had to have put a notch in casting to clear that pipe.
The bolt that goes into the arrowed hole (on the right). On the left it’s a regular bolt while on the Fiero one (I have the bolt, just not in pic), it’s a double ended stud with a really long bolt that sticks up. That bolt is what the cable bracket slides onto and is then held in place with a nut.
The shift and select mechanism. On the left you can see that everything is setup for the cable to come in from the top of the picture which would be from the bellhousing/back of the engine side. On the Fiero quadrant the bar on the shaft is rotated 90 degrees so that it works with the cables coming in from above, that is straight down into the picture. Also, the other cable bracket is orientated differently. On the left it’s located on a pivot in the casting. Obviously, this is where it’s supposed to go. On a Fiero, there’s a bunch of brackets that move it so that it will work with a cable coming from above, same as the shaft cable. I have the parts; I just took them off while I removing the quadrant from the Car in the scrap yard.
Oh, and just to clarify, and since I can never remember this stuff:
The side to side motion of the gear lever operates the select cable (thin one) which connects to the mishmash of bits on the quadrant that move the shaft in and out. The front/rear motion of the gear lever operates the shift cable (thick one) that rotates the shaft.
------------------ Anything I might say is probably worth what you paid for it, so treat it accordingly!

...and it still shifts better than a Getrag.

I'm just curious as to what this box came out of?
