Very nice find! Looks to be in good cosmetic condition. Being old school, I would take care of any mechanical issues, do a brake overhaul, put some good looking tires on it, detail it and use it for a daily driver.

The LS4 and 4T80e from a Northstar is stout as well. Replace the shift solenoids. One of mine let go at 214k miles into the cage assembly. |

Do you happen to know approximately how much HP/Torque a 4t80e hold with a mild rebuild replacing any known issues (basically I do not want to do a 4k rebuild...lol)

I don't, sorry. LS4 King was running 766 hp through his and has created a competition for similar builders who some are using the 4t80. It's the transverse version of the 4L80, so it's a good starting point for strength. Will mentioned the electronics and I don't know what Brandon is doing to operate them, but several people use them. Here are some videos of what is required but I haven't watched them in entirety. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhCmSQfpy9M

My 99 GM truck has the 4L80e version of the 4t80. It's 6.5 diesel, long bed, ext cab 4x4 and I carry tons of stuff in the bed. The orig owner leased it for his excavating business. It occasionally hauled a piece of their gear. There have been no problems to note other than the pump shows signs of wear. It only shows this when first started. Sometimes it doesn't want to move for a few minutes. It's uncommon to hear of a broken 4t80.

Can you fit an LS4, 4t80e and a turbo kit in the Fiero reasonably?
Otherwise the LS4 is going to take a decent amount of money to make good power. If you can fit a turbo in there, cheap power all day long.
