Looking here: http://www.60degreev6.com/vb5/60V6FamilyTree 1990-1996 Lumina APV Minivan had the 3.1L FWD iron head motor I think that's the best fit for this scenario then.

I have no choice of what to use. It's what I have on hand. This motor came out of a Fiero. It was painted blue so I'm pulling all my red stuff, sensors and brackets off my old motor and transferring them. Mostly just keeping the block, heads, lower intake, pan and timing cover. Everything else is coming off my old motor because I know they were good.

You misunderstand. I was saying that van engine was probably swapped into that Fiero.[This message has been edited by fierosound (edited 05-10-2020).]

Yes, I did misunderstand. Sorry.
We were looking at the heads to determine if it had Fiero heads on it but we can't identify the number. 14054876. Can't find that casting in any GM listing. FieroSails interchange list says the last digit should be a 9. TopNotch found a listing with a different casting number for the right and left heads. I'm pretty sure that listing is wrong.

That was the McClaren Turbo setup on the 1989 3.1L Grand Prix. I use to have one but sold it off years ago. The performance was good at 205 Horsepower but poor when compared to the later 3800SC Series II and III engines. Surprisingly the series 1 3800SC put out the same power as the turbo McClaren. ,
