Certainly sounds like the disk itself has just become 'bonded' to the flywheel over time. Wondering if you can take the dust cover off the bottom of the bellhousing to expose the clutch assemble and then, while someone presses the clutch to relieve the pressure on the disk, use something like a screwdriver to maybe separate the disk from the plate. Just a thought.------------------ Anything I might say is probably worth what you paid for it, so treat it accordingly!

I helped someone that had their clutch disc rusted before. To get it freed up we got the car aimed down the driveway, put it in a gear, started the car with some help pushing, once the car was running and heading down the driveway start pressing the clutch until it's free. You need some space and need to be ready to kill the ignition if it doesn't free and you're out of space.

Thanks People! I will look into it this week. Maybe do some bleeding, prying, cursing and stuff. Oh yeah does a Getrag have a inspection/dust cover/hole??
Thanks Vinny

Put the shifter in neutral. Get the car outside. Call a few friends over. Two at each end and one inside to depress the clutch pedal while in first gear. Rock the car back and forth a bit but not too hard, and the disc may come loose. Another way is to buy a 1" wide scraper. Put car in neutral, remove the access cover , place the scraper between the disc and the flywheel and tap with a hammer. Some guys use a long screwdriver and a hammer but this risks chipping the disc lining.. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite.
