Your post gave me the solution that I was seeking. Thanks you for your plain language recommendation/explanation.

I did not know that there was all three sensors related to the temperature: Cooling Fan, ECM sensor, and the Temperature sensor. I did some additional research to learn which green wire was the signal verses the 'Hot' lamp.

Green with Yellow strip is the signal wire and the solid dark green is the 'Hot' lamp wire.

Recap:

Fuel gauge is still not working
Tach is working thanks to posts here
Oil pressure gauge is working thanks to various posts
Speedometer has not been tested yet
Water temp gauge is now working (as of today, Sunday, January 26) thanks to olejoedad's post here
Volt gauge is now working due to various posts
I have a lamp in the volt gauge circuit
I have a 'Hot' lamp in the water temperature circuit

Onward to other gremlins (idle)
