Your post gave me the solution that I was seeking. Thanks you for your plain language recommendation/explanation.
I did not know that there was all three sensors related to the temperature: Cooling Fan, ECM sensor, and the Temperature sensor. I did some additional research to learn which green wire was the signal verses the 'Hot' lamp.
Green with Yellow strip is the signal wire and the solid dark green is the 'Hot' lamp wire.
