The issue I ran into installing one, was the parts store catalog was wrong. A couple stores sold me a part that looks almost identical, but has the wrong internal white arm.

ive worked at o reillys for 2 years, and im using NS37. tought about trying delco, but other standard parts have worked great!

that thread will def help, ill warranty it (lol) and try a delco one and give another update! ugh.

i bypass it and cranks but doesnt start, i dont hear fuel pump kick on, so that seems odd?

GOOD AND BAD NEWS!

Good news, delco switch was preset, put it in in neutral, shifted up to park and cranked hard BUT....

now no fuel pump kicking on?

Apply 12v to the associated terminal on the ALDL connector. This bypasses the relay to help narrow the problem.

so i got it to run! switched fuel pump fuse....shut it down...NOW IT WONT CRANK OR KICK FUEL PUMP ON, WTF.

EDIT, NSS SWITCH CONMNECTOR WASNT SNAPPED ALL WAY IN, SO I SECURED THAT ***** , DONE!!!

LESSON? ONLY AC DELCO REPLACEMENT WORKS.

There's probably a Standard part that works, but it isn't NS37.
