What did you need specifically when you did your swap? Since I already have a manual,
will the ECM need a new PROM or is it set with the one I currently have?

You're good. You would only need to change the PROM if you were going from manual to automatic trans.

Other than shifter, cables, trans to mount brackets, slave cylinder/pushrod, throwout bearing and backup light wiring it is a bolt-in conversion.

Other than what the other guys have mentioned, one of these from Rodney for your shift console...

You'll really appreciate that 5th gear on the highway.

[EDIT] You'll be wanting to buy a new clutch disc and pressure plate as well.

Thanks Patrick! Just got back from the bone yard and looks like she'll be all set!
Yeah the whole thing that started this was the throwout bearing on my current setup started WAILING the other day just as I was leaving the grocery store. Luckily it made it back fine.
I figured, hell, if I'm gonna be pulling the trans out to replace the clutch pack and all, might as well put a 5 speed in while I'm there.

I heard rumor that my 4spd console shifter would work with the 5spd. Is this accurate?
