Flasher is under the dash somewhere around the steering column. When mine got slow I replaced it with a Bussmann Bp/232 heavy duty SOLID STATE flasher.

Auto parts stores carry flasher relays with louder “clackers”. The louder ones are used mostly for truck applications and the like. Also these install just like your OEM Fiero relay, same size and fit. Cost is minimal. I believe you can also get the electronic flasher relays with louder clackers as well.
