If I am high jacking this post; Please Disregard.
What cars would I be able to pull parts from for this mod? And what parts are needed?

You can study up here:
http://www.gmtuners.com/files/index.htm and here: ECM upgrade (1227730) for stock 2.8
You would need an ECM and either the pigtails (connectors) or purchase a new pack with pins. The ECM is part number 1227730, found on V6 engines and I believe some 4 Cyl from:

You will also want to get a Memcal from a V6 that is for the 7730 ECM (the ECM from a salvage yard or eBay may contain one), you can research but two I recall are AUJW and AZTY. Then have Darth Fiero (Sinister Performance) get you an adapter and a custom chip to properly run the Fieros engine and place in the 7730 ECM. You have a lot of choices and he will guide you through it. If you have a 3.4 swap you can even setup a DIS system at the same time and remove the distributor.
If you wish to retain the EGR system (recommended) you will need the digital EGR ACDELCO 2142129, an EGR Adapter (sold by Georgia Fiero Club) which includes BOTH gaskets and a pair of bolts for the new EGR. Go ahead and get two new studs and nuts for the original EGR setup because that's how the adapter mounts and you'll need them. Plus get the new Digital EGR pigtail (locate from a salvage yard, I have two brand new pigtails left if you need one), found on the following:

You will also want to get a knock sensor. (recommended)
You will purchase the knock sensor for the part number of what the Memcal came from you place in your new ECM, Darth can tell you what Memcal the engine was for. You can then remove a lot of the ugly vac lines and the EGR solenoid, because the new EGR will not need them. You will also no longer need the Cold Start Injector Switch or the Fan Temp Switch. Both are the same thread and a plug (3/8 Inch NPT ) preferably brass can cap the holes. You can also remove the cold start injector itself, but is a little more involved. You will cut the fan temp switch plug off (can use as a connector on your new knock sensor) and tie it directly into the ECM and it will now control when the fan comes on. (Darth can even customize when)
It kinda sounds overwhelming at first, and once I got Darths pin out sheet it all made sense and everyone will help ya here. It really does make a difference and I wish I would have paid more attention to it years back. The idle and even my manual shifting has a nice smooth feel now.
