Hey Rick, try Larry Hubbert on this Forum. He has a bunch of '88 suspension parts like cradles and such. He is in Florida I believe.

I'll be darned........Can you modify the 4 cyl cradle to make it work for the V6 or is it that different?

Yes.
The 4 cylinder auto trans bracket can be trimmed off, the trans holes are there in the front and rear crossmember for the 'normal' trans mounts, and the mount plate under the water pump can be redrilled.
IIRC, the 4 cylinder cradle also has a 'puck', mounted to the top of the passenger side rail that should be removed.

The '88 cradles are out there, but hard to find. There is a guy in Ohio with two cradles for sale, I believe he had it listed on Craigslist. Also, keep an eye on the LKQ website, one of the Baltimore U-Pull it's had a '88 T-Top last summer, it was stripped and trashed very quickly. I managed to get a couple salvageable parts. Personally I traveled to SC to get my '88 cradle.

Thanks guys, good advice. Gives me some leads anyway.
Turbo86SE- Looks like I have 6 LKQ yards within 30 miles of my house and not one of them has an 88. Which is fine, like you said, I'd rather go out west or south- Maryland salts the daylights out of it's roads even when there's no snow sometimes!

If you still need an '88 cradle, I have one I could sell. Have a couple of coolant tubes as well.
