Three year old bump! This would be the car that I just acquired. Funny what one can find digging through all the topics here.

I'm guessing Op gave up on trying to align the panels because they're still not right. Something I'll be tackling when the weather warms up.

i spent quite a lot of time aligning my front panels, as i have an 84 and i put on the GT nose. i used little shims to correct the alignment.
