Okay, fuel pressure seems to be fine at about 43 when not running (and dropped zero after 5 minutes) and 38 when running. I even reved it up to where the stumbling is and while that was going on, fuel pressure stayed steady.

Welcome! I'm living in Lackawanna and have been for 4 yrs. I know your pain resulting from not knowing or trusting a local shop that will even attempt a Fiero fix. I've found my solution with a shop on Abbott rd. North of Ridge rd. in Lackawanna. The shop is Karyczak's Automotive 822-1574. I highly recommend this shop because of their reputation and combined knowledge of 8 experienced techs. I realize it's a hike from Amherst, but I think you'll be more than satisfied with their work. Take the T-way towards Erie Pa., exit Ridge rd. West, go approx. 1/2 mi. Turn right on Abbott go about 1mi. They are located on the left next to a 7-11. Hope this helps. Rich By the way, I am the owner of the red GT with the side scoops in the photo taken in the parking lot on Niagara Falls Blvd.

Welcome from Tonawanda.
I have a perfectly good running 2.8 in my currently non-drivable car. (87 auto) Should you get to the point of constantly swapping parts, you could try some off my engine just to see if it works or not. I know the frustration of buying new parts and still wondering if they're any good. (I would want my parts back on my car tho lol someday I'll get her back on the road I hope.) There is also a shop by me that's done some "easy" work for me on my Fieros I didn't want to do myself - but nothing that requires this kind of troubelshooting. Still if you can't get it to Lakawana for the above mentioned shop, let me know and I'll get you their #.
I don't get on this site daily, and don't get notified of all thread reaponses, so feel free to PM. That'll at least send me an email.
Best of luck! Scout

Thank you for the replies. I will give myself a little longer to figure it out but if not I will take it to one of the mentioned shops. I was really hoping to have this car ready to drive this summer and as of right now I feel like I am missing out!

Hey I know this is an old post but Hello everyone I am in Lancaster, previously Buffalo. I am driving a 1986 GT fastback in bright Orange! If anyone is still active on this we should make a meet up somewhere in the Buffalo (WNY) area. As I learn the forum more I'll see if there is a better place to post this.

I would introduce yourself in the General Fiero Chat section as well... lots of people in Tech, but there's also just as many other people in the general forum too.
