The GTP oil filter adapter works but will only provide enough space to clear the cradle with the shorter 3387A filter and not the longer GM PF52 filter that many of us use on the 2.8L. If you wish to use the longer PF 52 filter the H body 3800 series 1 filter adapter found on the Olds 88 may work. That raises the filter over the axle.

Don't believe that's it. IIRC, thats the one that pushes the filter back on an angle to the side. Never used it but don't believe it will clear the axle.
