I finally found a set of fiberglass housings that "you" used for cheap. They are for the mr2 but no bulb mounting plate. I have to do the mods and cutting to the housing so they fit, After cutting it all I want to re-layer a little fiberglass to clean it up. I have extra buckets and brackets too. I have to fabricate a bulb bracket but that's easy. Slowly but surely.
After dry fitting the piece I see that I have to cut the back and the front to make it work. I will then try to mold it to the stock front plastic flap to aquire the height needed to show the whole bulb.
Where can I find a good deal on the bulbs? Looking for Hella 90's and the brights. Prefer with harness that I can modify. I'm not fond of the ring light bulb that I've seen. I would try to do something like the BMr with the piercing light. Hella WHITE.
Fieroking----- By the way... Thanks for finding other options than the 400 dollor set of spot weld sheet metal + $40 shipping.
Question.... How's the heat holding up to the fiberglass? Is a heat shield necessary?

Thanks for the reply about my Headlight mod. I have not had any problem with heat melting the plastic mounts. The lights have been working great for me.

Fireoking..... this is what i was looking for. I have two questions though
1. what kind of epoxy did you use to attach the housings to the factory buckets once the were trimmed.?
2. (I may have missed this one or read it wrong) If the halo lights come on with parking lights what did you have to rewire for the headlights to motor up with the parking lights? the stock headlights don't go up when the parking lights are turned on. i'm sure I can figure this out on my own just thought if you already did it then i won't have to do the testing to figure it out.
I am going to check into HID conversions for these i think. They use H7 bulbs don't they? otherwise a more affordable option is some xenon bulbs. if anybody is looking for these light glow makes high wattage ones that look very blue (bluest i've seen) we sell them at the stereo shop i work for. they run about $40 per pair but thats just what we sell them for.

To try and answer your questions I used a two part epoxy that I bought at Home Depot, it comes in a tube and is an Ivory color. I have had no problews with the units coming apart.
As I used the the Fiero Light mount the units behave just as they would in any Fiero/ For the wiring the following is how I hooked them up using the provided wiring harness.
The red wire is to power the High beams. You need to find a 12 volt source to power them. The Angle Eyes are the short wires coming out just behind the light units. I put connectors on them and tapped into the running lights. That way you can have just the Angle Eyes on without the head lights being on.
The red wire and relays use 12 Volts and the high beam from the Fiero headlight connector to have the both the low and high beams at the same time, also the head light connector for the Fiero does provide a ground. So you do not need to add a ground to the system.
I hope this helps.

As far as any new mods I have started working on my 96 DOHC 3.4 with a FWD Getrag on an 88 cradle that I will be putting in my 85 SE. I also am working on several interior mods for my 88. A new dash with a Caddy instrument cluster and Climate control hooked to a computer controlled heating and cooling system. And a HUD out of a 93 Grand Prix

Turn the headlights on as normal, then just pull the headlight half of the switch back with your fingernail.

So... can these headlights be upgraded with bulbs that are have the blue HID tint to them? Or even with an HID kit?
I kind of want a purple/violet tint to my lights...
