It's been a long time since I updated this thread and I haven't made a lot of progress, but I have made some. We discovered that the PCM didn't have an oil pressure input, and I hoped that might be why the car was running rough when the engine was warm, so we removed the oil filter plate and remote oil filter and installed a factory oil filter adapter and oil pressure sending unit and re-pinned one of the secondary O2 sensors to send the oil pressure signal to the PCM. While that didn't fix the issue with the engine pulling too much ignition timing advance when warm, at least now we can monitor oil pressure via an OBD II scanner or HP Tuners.
This is my first experience with HP Tuners so I'm very much still learning. I was able to easily remove the clutch pedal DTCs and I compared a factory 2014 LFX Camaro tune from HP Tuners repository, made a few changes to get the existing tune back to stock, and flashed the PCM. My "factory" tune still didn't fix the timing issue. I forced the PCM to run in open loop only, still no luck. Every time the engine runs decent until the coolant temp increases, then you can watch the VCM Scanner advance the timing to 60 degrees and the engine stalls.
I posed on HP Tuners looking for some help and advice but neglected to save a log file so other tuners can watch what is happening. It will probably be a few months before I get the opportunity to do that but that seems to be my next step. Unless anyone else has a good LFX tune file I could try to use!

Overall an excellent swap job but the concerning part is I read that the LFX engines do not have the best readability record. That is according to the car wizard . It may be on high mileage engines though. Not sure what to believe. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite.
