I recently purchased a 5-speed trnsmission from a forum member here. I have not been able to get axle seals for it. The parts store guys tell me that its the same seal for all Fierod, and looking at the pictures herhe, I think that's so.

I posted pics of the tranny and the seal. Can someon explain?

I see different seals listed for 4 and 5 speed trannys.

I recently bought output shaft seals for a 5-speed Isuzu and the Timken part number was 3543.

The seals I have are Timken 3543, but they definitely do not fit. (Unless I am overlooking something). The axle area around the seal looks quite a bit defferent from 4 to 5 speed. Kinda like something is missing.

that looks like the Rodney Dickman support bearings.

I used to sell those bearings. I still have replacement seals for them in stock.

That clears it up! That's whay the parts guys kept coming up with the other seals.

Rodney, I'd like to get a set of seals, but I can't locate them on your website. If you send me a page link, I'll place the order.

Does anybody know if the 5 speed isuzu as it is used on Fiero's is also used on other cars? If so, what make/model will have the same gearbox? I'm asking because there aren't that much Fiero parts available over here.
