Had to google this, honestly had no idea. Admittedly, I don't understand how Canadian Leadership can justify this but maybe one of our Canadian members will enlighten us.

There are indigenous tribes that have land disputes with the Canadian government. I wonder how Canada would like it if other countries around the world starting recognizing that all of Canada actually belongs to the native tribes.
