GM Sold Out to the Chinese (Page 1/1) Doug85GT JUN 10, 11:23 PM A series of poor decisions over the past two decades has left GM in a situation where it's Chinese partner is the one calling the shots. GM has transferred all technology including its future developments to China. GM also has given China controlling stakes in major markets around the world. GM has also turned into a Trojan Horse by selling rebadged Chinese cars here in the US. In two decades China's auto manufacturing transformed from being a full generation behind US and other western car makers to not only being caught up but improving on the technology that GM transferred to them. GM is China's ***** right now. I don't see any way that is going to change for a long time coming.
