In his 1980 campaign and throughout his presidency, Reagan promised that he would abolish the Department of Education...but Congress wasn't interested.
To me, eliminating progressive ideology from the federal government 'education' will be a good step forward to MAGA.

CHRISTO-FACISTS WANT TO CON-TROL THE KIDS
they want the kids in christian schools
white kids anyway
I remember deseg
this time they want tax funding
as they were to cheap in the 60's
to fund their own schools

States should 100% fund and control the education in all state ran schools.
The FEDs should not be managing any of it.
Larger states should not be able to dictate to smaller states how to run the education system by manipulating the DOE
The only thing the FEDs should be doing is setting standards and letting the states figure it out.

Our students dismal testing scores are not entirely the fault of the government.
Many students have parents that are not involved in any aspect of their child's education.
