I tend to agree but, only if those who can afford it are vetted. They would have to prove their "money" was acquired through honest means. Laundered money would not get my approval.

Actually, I still have a few friends (former military acquaintances) that would be very welcomed, a few have actually visited me in the US. Although, there are Canadians that would never be happy here. But that's probably true of just about any country.

This is a brilliant move. The rich have the money to game the system as it is. This brings it above board and directly collects the money from them. Additionally, it will bring more rich people to the US which will increase investment and stimulate the economy.

The upside is that people with money will not vote for a government which wants to take taxpayer money. The left want people who will depend on taxpayer money, and vote left.
The big take-a-way is that we can reduce the US debt. My personal self is not in debt. It feels so good.
