i do not think my mom at 15 was over invested in margin stock speculation
that she grew up in post the Gop crash and depression they caused

I was about that age when I got my 1st share of stock (actually, a percentage, since you couldn't buy single shares of that company's stock) and 1 year younger when I bought my first calf (livestock). The calf's cost was significantly more than the share of stock.
