Border Czar Tom Homan is 'dealing' with leak that derailed ICE raid

quote | A furious Border Czar Tom Homan raged against an apparent intelligence leak that derailed a massive immigration raid on Tren de Aragua gang members in Colorado this week.
Homan announced he is 'dealing' with the source of the leak after the disruption when multiple federal agencies planned the action at multiple locations in Aurora, Colorado to rot out illegal migrants and gang members.
The incident unfolded early on Wednesday morning when hundreds of agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the FBI, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)descended on a number of apartment complexes.
But after each complex was searched for hours, just 30 arrests were made, and only one bust was a Tren de Aragua (TdA) member, Fox News' Bill Melugin reported.
These numbers fell far short of the over 100 arrests that authorities expected.
ICE acting director Caleb Vitello admitted after the operation that something appeared to derail the effort.
'I do get the impression that there were some intel leaks here. And I think that probably they did know that we were coming,' Vitello said.
Homan, who was at the raid early Wednesday morning to pump up the hundreds of law enforcement officers, took to Fox News on Thursday to send a warning to anyone planning on obstructing his agents.
'We've already identified how this operation got leaked,' he said visibly angered.
'I'll deal with that today,' Homan said sternly. 'It's not a game.'
'They may find themselves in pair handcuffs very soon,' Homan added of whoever leaked information about the early morning raids.
'I'm working very close, starting this morning, with Department of Justice.'
Footage of the Wednesday raid obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com shows several alleged TdA members emerge on the roof of the Whispering Pines Apartment as agents moved in.
The complex is a known TdA hotspot, and videos emerged last year showing gangsters carrying guns around threatening the inhabitants.
Since Trump took office, about 194 TdA thugs have been arrested by the federal government, according to Fox News.
Donald Trump vowed during a campaign rally in Aurora last year to help them eradicate the threat of TdA, and the feds have swiftly acted to undermine the gang.
'I think the American people, they gave President Trump a mandate,' Homan said on Fox. 'Border security, immigration enforcement is number one, and we're going to keep President Trump's promise.'
'I looked at the numbers this morning, ICE has already arrested just short of 12,000 people in this country,' he continued. 'The vast majority are criminals public safety threats.'
A video of the raid on Wednesday shows multiple men on their knees with their hands behind their backs as armed agents bound their wrists together with zip ties.
Whispering Pines is one of three Aurora complexes taken over by TdA last year.
The Jewel and Cedar Run apartments in the Denver area were also raided on Wednesday.
ICE along with other federal partners have begun deporting TdA members and other alien gang members to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. |

My only conclusion is that if you're not appalled at this leak then, I must assume those who are good with this leaker are into human trafficking or the illegal drug business. The leaker needs to be caught and sent to Guantanamo for life IMO.------------------ Rams Learning most of life's lessons the hard way. . There is no doubt there was a leak. Even all the anti deportation advocates showed up with bull horns to yell at ICE agents and advise the illegals that they do not even have to open their doors.

It takes a real scumbag to tip off a violent gang like that. So you thumbed your nose at Trump by letting these animals stay in the country. Every crime that is committed after this raid is on the leaker's head.

It won't surprise me if the leaker wasn't on two payrolls. But it is a sanctuary city/state.

We should deposit all of the TDA members across the USA in Aurora Colorado.

Read somewhere that DOJ is looking for the leaker(s) and has stated those involved won't just get fired, they will go to jail. That, would be justice IMO.

The person responsible for the leak should be sent to prison for treason. I suggest Guantanamo.
