There's a lot of nice stuff there... but there's also a lot of shitty stuff there.
It would come with some amazing history and heritage... but man, extreme poverty the likes of which most Americans can't even fathom. I mean, people literally living in the hills with homes made of stacked mud... using a laminated 80" flat screen TV cardboard box as their roof.
I'll tell you this though... the economic growth in that area, with U.S. constitutional protections and governance... the place would see economic prosperity the likes of which the world has never seen. You have entire swaths of beachfront and tropical property that would literally triple in value overnight.
