CNN were scumbags the way they ignored all the facts and defamed Navy vet Zachery Young. Young saved a lot of lives by evacuating Afghans during Biden's complete disaster in Afghanistan. CNN went out of their way to air lies about it.
IMO CNN got off easy at only $5 million. It should have been more.
BTW, punitive damages are yet to be awarded. CNN's lawyers pissed off the judge with their repeated lies during the trial.
