Israel and Hamas reach deal on Gaza ceasefire, hostage release

It amazing how this happened just prior to DJT taking office. I believe he did mention something about how he was very interested in this getting settled.
I'm thinking Israel's enemies are taking DJT as serious.

Three officials from the United States and one from Hamas stated that the deal is finalized, though an Israeli official claimed there are details yet to be ironed out, the AP reported.

But, there's always a caveat....................

No, our current resident in the White House Oval Office does not get any credit for this ceasefire nor does he deserve any.
Other countries might consider taking DJT seriously.

As we speak, right now... at this moment, Joe Biden is making a teleprompter news breifing about how his administration facilitated this amazing cease-fire.

EDIT: Ok, at the end, he indicated he's been working with the incoming Trump team on it.

Yep, he also said this ceasefire was the exact same one he presented first. It's simply amazing how DJT coming into office now makes that agreement acceptable to Hamas. Surely just a coincidence...................... Ya think:

Just as when Ronald Reagan had the American Embassy hostages by the Iranians released on his first day in office. After four years of the second worst President in history. Carter.

Last night in Biden's farewell speech, he touted his success in the Israeli Hamas war negotiations, to have the hostages released. Trump got no credit.

In typical Biden style, the deal is not done. I am sure now Biden will give Trump credit for the deal falling apart. As Trump would say, that's a bad deal. Have any of you looked at the terms ? It is a bad deal.

Trump said "if those hostages are not released when I take office, all hell will take place in the Middle East". The deal calls for ?nine? or less initially, for over 100 Hamas soldiers imprisoned in Israel.

While I am not within DJT's inner circle, I won't be surprised if, a much larger military force won't be moving closer to or into the middle east in a very short time with orders to defend themselves and any other associated groups/nations. Those orders may include search and rescues mission for hostages.

There are apparently lessons to be learned about who carries the big stick. Could Americans be a risk? Hell yes but, that's part of the commitment.
IOWs, don't screw around unless you expect to end up getting screwed.

That is prophetic.

Iran is behind all the terrorism. If all hell breaks out in the Middle East, Iran better move.
