I'd like to do the opposite...
I'd like to nominate all the people who believed Trump would be the anti-Christ, and then discovered after Trump won in a landslide, that the Democrat leadership magically stopped calling him Hitler and the end of the world. All of a sudden, they realized that all the angst, the stress, and the emotional discord they'd been fed for years was all a lie... and all of these die-hard liberals started coming to their senses that in fact, he's not the worst person in the world, but that he might actually change things for the better... that the country actually sorely needed real leadership... and not the absurd Democrat nonsense we've had since the Obama administration.
Bill Clinton was a good president, a reasonable person who worked with all sides to get things accomplished. He slashed the government, made it more efficient, and accomplished quite a bit. Bush Sr. was not great... he was the Mitt Romney of his time. Reagan was sort of the Trump before Trump. But President Obama... he ushered in the era of corporate aristocracy and government corruption... leading to what essentially was the worst period of government corruption in decades. This persisted through the Trump administration (which fought against him the entire time, even though they were his boss), and went completely nuts under the Biden Administration since Biden (we now know from the WSJ paper) was never really "there" during the entire presidency... including during the Afghanistan pull-out, in which most of the decisions were being made by his political aides, and not by him at all.
Trump's 2016 election was a "reaction" to the corruption under Obama and the way things had shifted... he got a lot done, but was reactionary. Trump, in 2024 has since realized what he's up against, and is poised to stop anything in his way, but not let it guide him, instead, he'll focus on making significant change... (we will have to see how successful he is).
But, I'd like to nominate The Young Turk... for his complete 180.

Nominations aren't really necessary. One only needs to watch the Red Bars to see who wins.
