From ‘garbage’ to ‘lock him up,’ Biden’s gaffes undercut Harris in campaign’s final days.

quote | Since dropping out of the 2024 race, President Biden has sought to adapt to a new role of finishing out his term while trying to avoid hurting Vice President Kamala Harris’s chances of defeating Donald Trump in November.
Over the past week, however, Biden has had trouble living up to that assignment to “Do no harm.”
On Tuesday, Harris delivered her closing argument speech before 75,000 people gathered at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., reaching out to undecided voters and vowing “to be a president for all Americans,” while also warning that Trump is “unstable, obsessed with revenge, consumed with grievance.”
But as the speech concluded, video clips were being circulated on social media of what appeared to be Biden calling Trump’s supporters “garbage” in a video call with a Latino voter registration group. That negative interpretation, however, rests on the view that Biden said “supporters” rather than “supporter's” when he said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his [supporters/supporter's].” |

First, I was "Deplorable", now I'm "Garbage". These low IQ name calling descriptions are simply a reflection of how Democratic Leadership view those who don't agree with them. In that I voted early, this doesn't change who I voted for but will definitely have an effect on future voting decisions.
Just remember this. When VP Harris was asked about agreeing with President Biden's policies, she stated that she couldn't think of anything she disagreed with. Harris has told more lies in this campaign than any politician I've ever heard of. Her political history and performance is totally different than what she's claiming will be her policies if elected. Democrats and Independents should see right through her campaign speeches but.....................

I tried to figure out where all of this started, because it seems to have snowballed...
But I guess it started with a less-than-great comedian making jokes on stage that were obviously triggering to some people. Probably wasn't the best idea to have someone like that at a rally just two weeks before the election... but never the less... the Democrats seized on it and started calling Republicans NAZIs (where haven't they done this before). I need to mention off course... the original NAZI rally in Madison Square Garden was made up almost entirely of Democrats (at the time), back in 1939. In 2024, it's Republicans at the rally, but a very large number of them are Jewish... so it seems silly, quite frankly. When the left uses terms like this ad-nauseam, it loses it's emphasis.
Never the less, I guess Biden referred to the people at the rally as garbage, intending to emphasize (from what I understand) that the content and and some people at the rally were garbage. I haven't seen the exact quote (don't really care to be honest), but then I guess Joe Biden doubled-down... or more specifically, tried to clarify what he meant... and tried to refer to the content as garbage and not the people. This, in my opinion, was dumb, because he brought further attention to it. Trump of course (who's brilliant in these ways), seized upon that and decided to drive a garbage truck to a rally... which only increases the aspect of him being viewed as "for the working man," which the Democrats have largely lost in this election. Pure genius. Harris tried to distance herself from these comments, stating that she would never make fun of people based on who they vote for... which is a wild thing for her to say since she's literally been calling Republican voters "NAZIs" and "fascists" for 4 years.
Anyway, they're comparing it to "basket of deplorables." I don't honestly know if Hillary's comments really swayed anyone. They made it seem like her comment made the difference in the election. I'm not sure at all that it did. And I don't know if Joe Biden's comments did or would have either. What I will say though... is that Trump's ability (or his marketing person) to act on this, by driving a garbage truck is pure genius. This most certainly has convinced a few people who were possibly still on the fence, that he's not "too good" and views himself as fighting for the "working man" (which, I hate that terms like that, to be clear).
Trump's marketing (if not his own decisions), have been pure genius this year. He's been doing things that not only engage the public, but even elicit frustrating outcry from the Democrats, in which those actions only further hurt them and help Trump.

Fortunately, I had already taken myself out to the curb, and have been interred in the landfill.
Does that make me a resource for future generations?

Well, landfills tend to produce great amounts of gas. Please don't contribute to the Harris campaign with any energy sources. The whole campaign seems to be powered by horse apples....................

Hahah! I've never heard this expression before, I had to look it up...
"A horse apple refers to dried horse droppings. It is also commonly associated with the fruit of the Osage-orange tree, which is sometimes called a hedge apple or horse apple, but the term primarily denotes the animal waste."

He wore the orange safety vest through out hi whole rally in Wisconsin last night. Today he is doing a rally in Nevada. Some attendees are wearing orange safety vests.
The consensus seems to be he outdid his McDonald's viral moment.
