The Supreme Court can still gum up the works and eliminate any possibility of Trump being tried before the election in the federal (Jack Smith) 2020 election interference case.

Trump can appeal to the Supreme Court by Monday next. The "Supremes" can drag out their deliberations long enough to prevent Trump going to trial before the election. Even their deliberations about whether to "grant cert" or hear the case.

It will go to the supreme court. That is why the trial is on hold. The left is now crying "Justice delayed is justice denied", not understanding that that concept applies to the defendant, not the prosecution. In fact, that concept should be applied to the J6 defendants.

It's not just a defendant that has a right to a "speedy" trial. It's also the nation at large, that is looking on and awaiting to see how justice is served.

I have this on the authority of numerous "talking heads" who are credited as "contributors" on MSNBC cable TV broadcasts.
