Regarding the immigration and border security bill from the Senate.......

This is a perfect example of the problem we have in Washington today. i have been saying that we need to pass legislation instead of just leaving policy up to executive orders.

But when they draft a law they leave it so full of loopholes that it still basically depends on how the executive branch wishes to enforce it.

They can't do anything except scream at each other and investigate and impeach.

I don't think most of them ever paid taxes. Back in the '70s, I worked for a couple of months along side a couple of guys from Mexico. On Friday afternoon, the boss would come out, hand me my check then start peeling off greenbacks for the other guys.

Both sides had their spin.

One side would claim that they did not cost that much because they could not receive welfare or government housing or anything like that. But they are still a huge strain on schools, medical facilities, law enforcement and any other government service that all citizens receive.

Other side would claims they pay no taxes, but they do pay sales tax, and if they rent that rent pays property tax.

But overall I'd say it is pretty clear that they cost more than they pay.

This Executive Branch has proven it either can't handle immigration or, is intent to fill the US with those who will eventually be granted citizenship and will vote for more Dems. The answer is pretty obvious to those who actually look. Any legislation passed should not leave the President in charge of immigration, regardless of party. Build the damn wall and lock it down. The border between North and South Korea is one of the most secure in the world and yet, there are still border crossers. Some make it, some don't. I like their system. Go ahead, call me heartless.

We already have the laws. We need to go back to enforcing them.

The system works, only when you want it to work.

Yes. Fanni will be thrown out of office. Jack Smith, Alvin and the stripper will be told to sit down and shut up. The law will prevail.

I believe Alvin Bragg will be joining Fanni in the unemployment line very soon.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has just ruled against Donald Trump in the Jack Smith-led 2020 election interference case in which Trump is the only defendant.

Trump's claim of presidential immunity relating to the events of January 6... DENIED.

So, I guess that's why the trial has been removed from the docket, suspended indefinitely. Huh?

Anyone want to bet on whether or not there is appeal to the full appeals court?
