The race is on to destroy the economy/freedom/American way of life. Electricity may become so difficult to provide and expensive even electric cars will be sidelined.

We could not have enough electric to provide for us recently, much less electric cars.
How do electric cars provide passenger comfort heat ? Must be electric, the most expensive source of heat and the most energy depleting.
$2.19 a gallon yesterday, $2.29 today.

If we all drive electrics, what are they going to do with all the gasoline produced during the crude cracking process?
What will become of our Saudi friends? They might become radicalized against Western nations if their riches stop?

Oh my, I forgot. About three months ago, wait, let me back up.
I have a diesel truck, my wife a gasoline powered vehicle. My fuel used to be .35 cents to .50 cents per gallon higher.
About three months ago, the price for gasoline and diesel was only .02 cents different. For a month or so.

I got 93 octane at Sam's Club for $2.80 per gallon, it's just over $3 otherwise. Driving a turbo'd truck these days.
I see E30 (94 octane) at Sunoco for $2.74 and sometimes I'll top off with that. Oddly has not impacted my mileage that I can tell.
Otherwise Regular is around $2.60-$2.68 around town. Haven't ventured up to Jupiter to see how much Ethanol-free gas goes for.

Been up and down the East Coast as of late, discovered Buc-ee's which has ethanol free gas, but at $3.33/gal for 87 octane... ouch. My ride is tuned for midgrade minimum and Sam's was still hanging in there at $2.88/gallon premium. Shopped at a Kroger with a gas pump and got ten cents off their midgrade which made it $2.64/gallon.

$2.22 in Humble earlier today. Higher near the airport. As much as $2.39. Diesel was about $2.72 a week ago when I last bought any.
