Because other candidates political ads are just chock full of success stories and good advice for America, right?

Bye, bye, Bowman.
Perhaps a harbinger?

Trump's convictions will be overturned on appeal and all of the other cases will be tossed out.
But, it won't happen until after the election and the Left will claim that the judicial system is corrupt. I know, ironic, huh?
The Left is now as desperate and dangerous as a wounded Rhinoceros. Keep your wits about you.[This message has been edited by williegoat (edited 06-29-2024).]

This is a really good analogy.
This is going to be super nerdy, but there was a computer game I played in the 80s and 90s... and there was one (Wing Commander IV) which was especially good. They had full motion video and had a lot of cut-scenes in between fights... you can see that here:
Probably my favorite character was played by Malcom McDowell. If you can get through the whole thing, he has several quotes from Sun Tzu's Art of War, and from other famous early American revolutionaries... like... "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance..."
But one of the comments he makes is, "Your enemy is most dangerous, when he's nearly defeated." The point being, you have no idea what they'll do, and they'll often go to any lengths to maintain power because they have literally everything to lose if they do not.
Obviously, I don't view Democrat voters as my enemy, I think they are largely misguided right now. But your comment made me think of this. Haha...

Keep in mind that the people who told us Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation,
the people who told us Joe Biden was highly capable,
are the same people who are telling us that elections are secure.

This is not true at all. The entire judicial system of the United States has told us that the 2020 election was secure. They have said nothing about Hunters laptop or Joe's mental state.
The people that told us that the elections were not secure are currently paying millions in dollars in damages because of the proof that they lied.
Just another attempt by the right to discredit the judicial system so that Trump can take complete control.

I agree that this seems an intellectually dishonest way to portray the findings about election security. We know the 2020 election was secure because it was tried and investigated over and over again, by states both Democratic and Republican, by the Justice Department, and by 'independent auditors.' No matter how hard anyone looked hoping to find an insecure election, there wasn't one to be found. That wasn't from some single source, it was from the near-exclusive preponderance of findings from a myriad of varied sources.
I'd also like to point out that both the Washington Post and New York times have been reporting since 2022 that messages on the Hunter Biden laptop have been authenticated. I'm not claiming the media doesn't push a narrative, but it is problematic to tie that narrative to a specific point in time and overlook developments that have happened since.[This message has been edited by NewDustin (edited 07-07-2024).]
