I don't understand the denial of reality about criminal activity in this country when it is a top social/political hot potato. It's primarily a local, then regional problem and the responsibility of a president to enforce federal law(s) via the DoJ and congress to enact law(s) to protect citizens. But have the executive branch ignore or override via EO or DoJ policy laws long on the books and you create an environment where criminals don't fear prosecution and are not kept off the streets to re-offend. I read a curious article where there was a small core of repeat criminals in New York city that were responsible for the majority of theft. Seems to me a simple thing you could focus on keeping them locked up, eliminate the 'no cash bail' or just convict them and sentence them progressively to be able to show an actual decrease.
The crimes that influence opinions are mostly theft and physical assault when they impact an individual. Murder shouldn't be a dispute but that gets twisted in narratives these days.
Crime is still bad, it hasn't gotten 'better' unless you willfully ignore it. Just put on your Raybans in a dark room and it'll be okie doke Brandon.

And Joe is a criminal and a puppet.
I have made a few posts in the last couple of weeks that explain it. Fred turned one into a crude, perverted sexual reference and only one (maybe two) people understood another one. Another, just two days ago, was a bread crumb.

You have no clue what you are talking about.
Crime stats don't come from police or prosecuting attorneys. They come from victim surveys.

You are not paying attention. The NCVS is only part of the picture and doesn't include many important crimes. It is only a tool, not the whole picture.
