Twitter tagged a White House tweet yesterday, regarding the 2023 SS COLA bump. They said it was misinformation. The WH removed the tweet.

We agree 100% on that. Musk is no fool. Money will be made.

I thought about it tonight while I was listening to some podcasts at work, and I think Elon pulled off an almost perfect purchase.

He went to buy Twitter because he said he was tired of the censorship. I'm sure that was part of it, but he also likely saw an opportunity for something else. I'm not sure what yet, I think a base of sorts for something else.

Hopefully he'll build a different platform to destroy Facebook.

Not a different platform. Musk is building a super app, Twitter is just a small part of the grand plan for his x.com

And lots of it..

I actually like the guy. He has quirks, which makes watching the business dealings all that much more interesting.

If any of us got in the face and fired a few thousand wokers, we would be cancelled in an instant. Something along the lines of what Kanye is going through right now (White lives matter )

Somehow, Elon gets away with it.

Liberal economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman has created an account on Mastodon, thinking of it as an alternative to what he fears is an emerging "Muskocalypse" that is leaving Twitter in disarray.

Well... what might Donald J. Trump have been saying, way back in 1998? Or anyone else that has a strong positive rating (so to speak) with forum member Wichita?

Recency is important.
