But every time a judge goes against Trump, you embrace the law as a righteous institution.

"It's the law, boy. Deal with it."

I am not of the opinion that any of the Supreme Court justices needed to recuse themselves from this Colorado ballot case that's just been decided, or from the presidential immunity case that the court has scheduled for hearings towards the end of April.

The Supreme Court will rule that there is no such thing as presidential immunity... though I expect them to narrow what it means with their decision. There should be some immunity as it applies to speech, and I think that can be addressed through the 1st Amendment. A president should not be held accountable for the things they say, unless under oath in a deposition or something to that effect... but they should be held accountable for the actions. There is no proof that i'm aware of that shows Trump had anything to do with Jan 6th.

Uh huh... he's completely exonerated then!
And what's an internet political forum thread without at least one reference to Hitler...

You all know I despise Trump, but the 1-6 case seems to be the weakest against him.
Obviously Trump is responsible for the whole "stolen election" hoax, but it is a bit of a stretch to blame the criminal behavior of his most brainwashed followers on him.

We think of the courts when rulings are made. Never do we hear about the entity who first brought the suit.

The 1-6 incident was in 2021 after the Trump/Biden election.

Shillary was also responsible for starting the idea that Obama was not born in America. During their primaries.
