Guess I never really understood this power the President had. I didn't know that power gave him the right to blanket pardon someone for an 11 year period. There definitely should be some oversight and restrictions here. But anyone that thought this was never going to happen is living in a different world than I am. For good or bad, the current administration set the stage for Trump's return. I wish it had been different, fair and with the hope we could work together. That time was 6 years ago. It didn't happen and we have what we have. I still think Trump is better than what we have now, but I have my eyes open. Directly or indirectly the results are the same. He has 4 years to reach his agenda, 8 years would have tempered that. But with most of the things he tried to accomplish turned around or outright blocked by the current administration its going to be a very tough 4 years. More so for some than others. Let's hope we are better for it in 4 years. Oh and before we forget Epstein didn't kill himself and the only one behind bars is his book keeper. Guns don't kill people, people do. We are already in the Ukraine <> Russian war, let's hope history does not repeat itself. I have more but life is calling and I must go.
