Last week the news was that they were zeroing in on the person who leaked the decision on the Dobbs case. Now today, they say they haven't got a clue and are done trying.
Is there any reasonably intelligent adult who believes they can't figure this out? This is a huge truckload of recycled prairie grass.
edit: Well, it looks like Jordan & Co. ain't having it. The House Judiciary Committee is going to look into it.

My guess is that it's a Democrat... or perhaps, it's something I don't want to hear, like a conservative shared information with someone in confidence, and then it was leaked after the fact.

Borrow the "razor" of old William of Ockham (a/k/a "Occam")

Just stop and ask yourself for a moment, WHO, (what political ideology), has a long documented history of leaking information in order to advance their own social and political interests? Then look at THE TIMING of the leak.[This message has been edited by randye (edited 01-27-2023).]

"Opinion: Why Trump’s White House Leaked and Biden’s Hasn’t" Jack Shafer for Politico; March 25, 2021.
| quote | This time four years ago, the Trump administration had already burst its banks with sensational, revealing and damaging leaks. The Washington Post had reported the dodgy phone conversations between President Donald Trump’s pick for national security adviser, Michael Flynn, and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. An executive memo about reestablishing CIA “black site” prisons had appeared in the New York Times. Trump advisers candidly—though anonymously—gossiped with the Times about the president’s “impetuous,” impulsive ways and his reliance on “alternative facts.” And a confidential White House request that the FBI publicly discredit reports of Trump campaign connections to Russian intelligence seeped onto CNN.
In comparison, the Biden White House has been as tight as an airlock on the International Space Station. This absence of leaks has fed the press corps’ hunger for a presidential press conference—a desire for him to say something, anything, to fill the silence. . . . |

Among the Trump administrations' numerous leakers, President Trump himself; perhaps the most prolific Trump administration leaker of them all.
It's a prime example of how history reveals that leaking knows no political ideology, contrary to the idea that leaking is only (or mostly) a "Democrat" thing. Democrat, liberal, progressive, leftist, Marxist... yada yada yada. Those particular nouns and adjectives that are the distinctive vocabulary of the extraterrestrial visitors from Planet Bulls**t.

With this classified documents revelations, we could well be seeing an inflection point in the history of the Biden administration, where more leaking from inside the Biden administration can be expected, but that does not and cannot rewrite the history of the deluge of leaks during the Trump administration, from Trump administration insiders who can scarcely be thought of as Democrats or leftists or any of the other delusional yada yada yada that's been spoken by the aforementioned space travelers from Planet Bulls**t.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 01-28-2023).]
