Is it "deranged" for the President and Commander in Chief to be concerned about burn pits, and about soldiers that are thought to have become cancer cases and cancer fatalities because of the airborne contamination from the military's use of burn pits? Even if there is scientific evidence that negates that idea. It's anything BUT "deranged" to think about it.
I have to tell you, I have not seen any of the President's SOTU and I don't know what the context was when he said "burn pits." I don't know if he was talking about burn pits as a topic, in and of itself, or if he was talking about burn pits, only in connection with the larger and more general topic of cancer(s).
What you are doing here, Hudini, is giving a free pass to a Bullshit Artist of epic proportions. And by that, I do not mean "Donald Trump." I mean some other Bullshit Artist, who is very visible on this forum. Visible outside this forum, on the TV channels and media websites that I frequent--"not so much."

I have gone to Cliff from time to time, seeking his interest in the way of forum moderator.
But this reference that you just made--to the "one" complaining to Cliff--no. That wasn't me. It's actually been quite some time since the last instance where I tried to call Cliff Pennock's attention to forum messages that I thought were out of line and called for forum moderator intervention.
These recent changes that Cliff Pennock has made, resulting in this new Politics & Religion area within the forum--I probably had something to do with it, but it can't be put all on me.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 03-05-2022).]
