They did not say it was Russian disinformation. They said it "had the appearance" of Russian disinformation. And that is 100% true. The guy supposedly had the laptop for over a year and he just starts dropping the info a couple of weeks before the election? The FBI knew the laptop most likely belonged to Hunter, but they did not know if the info on it had been altered. Or if fake stuff was mixed in with the real. The timing and the source (a blind, MAGA, computer store owner) made it very suspicious.
