Dershewitz wrote this piece for the New York Post which has a well-known conservative bias. And in this piece he says " because the case is not being televised, the public has to rely on the biased reporting of partisan journalists."
So he is admitting that he is a "partisan Journalist"
Dershewitz is usually a pretty straight shooter, but I don't understand his take on this at all. Since the "partisan journalists" come from both sides then everything should be covered. Neither side is being shut out from covering the trial.

Here is another example of how "the news" has become propaganda.
This is the headline from a story reported yesterday by Reuters:
Exclusive: One in 10 Republicans less likely to vote for Trump after guilty verdict, Reuters/Ipsos poll finds
What conclusion would you expect most people to draw, based on that headline?
Now, if you read the story, the first paragraph will reiterate that fact.
| quote | | WASHINGTON, May 31 (Reuters) - Ten percent of Republican registered voters say they are less likely to vote for Donald Trump following his felony conviction for falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment to a **** star, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll that closed on Friday. |
|
You have to continue on to the second paragraph to fill in the blanks and get the whole story.
| quote | | The two-day poll, conducted in the hours after the Republican presidential candidate's conviction by a Manhattan jury on Thursday, also found that 56% of Republican registered voters said the case would have no effect on their vote and 35% said they were more likely to support Trump, who has claimed the charges against him are politically motivated and has vowed to appeal. |
|
56% of Republican registered voters said the case would have no effect on their vote and 35% said they were more likely to support Trump
Now, that paints a slightly different picture, huh?
В Правде нет правды, в Известиях нет известий
