Universal healthcare would be an additional economic burden on the middle class. It would also increase the opportunity for corruption and nepotism in both the public and private sector.

Nationalization of the healthcare industry would be another step closer to Fascism.

Obama’s ACA already demonstrated all of the above.

Remember that the Left does not want to fix anything. If they actually fixed everything, we would no longer need them. The politicians would need to find honest work.

What's the old saw.....If there's money for research, there will never be a cure......

I don't necessarily agree with that, but I do know people with diabetes that struggle to make ends meet.

How? Why? Every other industrialized coountry on Earth has some form of universal health care. Are you claiming that all f those countries have fascist governments?

No it doesn't because the ACA is not a single payer universal health care plan.

The ACA helped. That is why Republicans will never repeal it. But how the hell do you link the ACA to fascism?

You could at least quote the entire post, which put what you quoted into context.

My point was that diabetes research needs to be pushed (along with healthy lifestyles to help prevent disease), but you chose to not do that.
