TN NG arrived and started patrolling as requested Monday (along with another couple hundred Fed LEOs), The NG are in uniform, the other LEOs are dressed in civilian clothing. Only certain/designated NG are deputized by the US Marshall, (those NG/Deputies are armed) to actually arrest law breakers if needed. I can honestly state that since the intervention of additional forces, Memphis did not have any reported car jackings, drive by shootings or murders. That could easily change but, the gangs and hoodlums know the Heat is On and are laying low.
Of course, the City and County Counsel (those who tried to reject the Fed assistant) are saying that if the Fed provides more funding, they can hire more police.

How far back do we go? The Spanish conquered South and Central America, and the area that is Texas (and Florida for that matter). These were Hispanics that slaughtered the native Americans that were living there. For the most part, the people you see in Central America are almost entirely generations past of Spaniard-centric people. Only in the mountains do you actually get people who are still mostly native of the original Incans or Azteks. In any case, Texas... which was made up of Spaniards, Western Europeans, etc., fought to give themselves independence from Spain, and later from Mexico's Santa Ana. They didn't steal land from anyone... they fought for independence, and then collectively joined the United States.
Much of the rest of the country was conquered by the French (Louisiana territory, etc., half of Canada), British (half of Canada, original 13 colonies), Dutch (NY, PA). They're the ones that, for the most part, conquered the Native Americans. And then as a new collective people, we formed the United States. If we're going to talk about the Trail of Tears... well, complain to your local DNC chapter and air your grievances about Andrew Jackson.
I'm just really tired of seeing this. People do not "deserve" to simply come into America and become citizens because they want to. The majority of Americans have determined that there is a process by which you have to go through. It's the same for basically every country that has a government. If I wanted to become a citizen of the Netherlands, for example, I have to take a test, get a visa and apply for residency, etc., all the same things you have to do in the United States. Signs like this just drive me nuts... it's like they have no concept how the rest of the world works. Mexico would only let me in if I promise to bring wealth there. If I was a hobo, they'd have no interest in having me as a citizen.

So, it appears you deny that different tribes fought and stole territory/land from each other? BTW, they also took hostages and slaves I'm told. Taking your own advice might help you.
