If you weren't around 50 years ago, it might not make sense. But in some ways, it was a glimpse into the future.

Speaking of 'SCIENCE' . . .
"There is NO EVIDENCE that ‘global warming’ was rebranded as ‘climate change’"
That's the banner for an article I just stumbled upon. I would enlarge on it:
| quote | | "There is no evidence that 'global warming' was deceptively rebranded as 'climate change' by people and groups that want to transition society away from reliance on fossil fuels and other 'green' or climate-sensitive ideas of that kind." |
|

The idea that's expressed in that image has had considerable "resonance", but when a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge looked at that assertion systematically, he uncovered a different story. To wit:
| quote | To find out whether there is some truth underlying the “rebranding theory”, I analysed 30 years (1990-2019) of data containing the terms global warming and climate change from five sources: the academic literature repositories Scopus and Web of Science, the British newspapers The Times and The Guardian, and the articles published by the Heartland Institute itself.
This mix of sources provides a nice overview of how the two terms have been used over time. If the theory is true, we would expect the use of global warming to be dominant in the past, to then slowly be substituted by climate change. Let’s see what the data says. |
|
I won't duplicate any more of the text. And I don't think I can distill his findings into fewer words than he used himself, without damaging the clarity of his evidence.
"There is no evidence that ‘global warming’ was rebranded as ‘climate change’" Giulio Corsi for The Conversation; March 12, 2020. https://theconversation.com...limate-change-133213

Yes Master, I submit my Constitution to you at the point of a gun barrel, I will not resist. Much gratitude Master, I bow before your throne, all powerful Khan. '
' You ! Come forward to submit your Nation to Khan ! '
' Yes Master, I submit my Constitution to you at the point of a gun barrel, I will not resist. Thank You, Master, I bow before your throne, all powerful Khan. '
See, that was how the planet was, before there was a Constitution.
' We have it in our power to begin the world over again. ' ~ Thomas Paine

A marxist return to slavery for all, rejected then, as now. A global war to destroy the Constitution, by a fake.
In two months, the Russian offensive, nukes.
' Now look at what you've done Biden_Joe ! '

' A pathetic fraud. Punt that imbecile across Pennsylvania Avenue, for good ! ' That would make a great news headline, even cnn would run with that.
' Yeah ! for the salvation of the Constitution, and the freedom of the people ! '
To this day, they wield sufficient, immense, power to destroy the planet, corrupt ponzi con to take the wealth of the people, squeezing the blood from a stone. They are diddlers, the grifter too.

Speaking of 'SCIENCE' . . .
As representatives from nations all around the world have been meeting in Egypt at COP27, many eyes have been focusing on the Arctic regions, from Alaska and Canada, to Sweden and Norway, to Russia and Siberia. The focus is on permafrost. It's being described as a climate "wild card".
The latest on Arctic permafrost. How and how much planet-warming carbon dioxide and methane could be released into the atmosphere as ambient air and ground temperatures in the high northern latitudes continue their upwards trends. How climate researchers are trying to cope with the new obstacles they're faced with, as a consequence of Vladimir Putin's "special military operation" in Ukraine.
