I know this is funny to you, but I've genuinely lost all faith in the election system of most states. Florida uses the same systems that are being used in the Nevada election from what I understand... but Florida was able to tabulate everything within a couple of hours after the polls closed. So what else am I supposed to make from this?
Look, I DESPERATELY want to be wrong, I would happily welcome a reality where abortion is the most important thing in the world to everyone, and that people really don't care about inflation or gas prices. I would happily welcome a reality where the election was 100% on the up-and-up. I'd be totally OK with it... I'd just say, ok, we need to improve our messaging.
BUT NO ONE is willing to explain these bumps. Democrats say it's normal, but offer no explanation other than to say that the right is crazy.

I think at least part of the explanation is that in Florida, they do not wait until after the polls close on Election Day to start counting the ballots that were received by mail before (possibly weeks before) Election Day. Whereas in these other states, they do not start counting the ballots that were mailed in until after the polls close on Election Day.
It seems like a tradeoff. The downside of doing it like Florida and not waiting to count the mail-in ballots is the possibility that information about how the mail-in ballots are trending could be leaked out to the public before the polls close on Election Day. And people who have not voted before Election Day should not have that awareness about the votes that have already been cast.
Oddly (it seems) I cannot recall ever seeing it explained this way, but what other explanation could there be?[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 11-11-2022).]

In AZ, early ballots can be counted as soon as they are received, yet there are over 518,000 ballots still to be counted, mostly from "day of" in person and drop offs.
Today, we are being told that it will be sometime next week before we will see the final count.

It's not looking good Willie... based on some of the most recent information, Kari Lake is now completely behind... and all the "found" ballots appear to be Democrat.

She is counting on the trend that "day of" ballots favor republicans. They claim that on Tuesday, the trend was 70-80%. But the lion's share of the remaining ballots are from Maricopa and Pima county. She is more confident than me.
She will be on with Hannity in a little bit.
As of right now, she is 1.4% behind. 26k votes.

Seriously, I'm so pissed. This is complete, I mean complete bullshit. Florida was able to count ALL their votes within hours of the polls closing. WHAT THE **** is Arizona, Nevada, and a few of the other states doing?
I have no other take-away than to believe that they're trying to engineer election fraud...
Florida screwed stuff up badly in 2000... we tried again 2004 and screwed up still with a different system. What we've had since 2006 has been fantastic, and we figure this out immediately. This is completely, COMPLETELY unacceptable.
And yes... Hobbs is completely retarded. I guarantee to you she didn't do **** the entire time she was in office except sit in meetings. Can you actually see her making any decisions at all while sitting at a conference table? She probably signed a few things, but her staff did everything for her... basically maintaining the status quo. God, it just infuriates me. Every year that goes by, I have less and less faith in my country to do literally anything.[This message has been edited by 82-T/A [At Work] (edited 11-11-2022).]

She is overseeing the election and there is even video of her at the counting station when the ballots were being dropped. Everyone is asking why she was even there.
It's odd! I've been voting electronically since I could from the mid 90's. Never have filled out a paper ballot, push chad ballot, voting via mail or anything.
Brazil had over 100 million votes on their election day and it was all counted within 3-hours.
The only reason Arizona is delayed, because they have a 5-day 'cure' window to verify the signatures on the ballot that have been flagged as non-matching in their system. Meaning they contact the voter to see if this is a match.
So you are telling me over 500,000 people's signatures on ballots are not matching in the Arizona system? Either their scanners suck, the matching program sucks, or.... or.....

Big shock! It went to the Democrat.
Even though the Governorship went Republican.
